ICUMSA 45 is the international color standard for the highest-purity refined white sugar. A reading of 45 IU (ICUMSA Units) or below indicates minimal color, impurities, and ash — making it the benchmark for premium export-grade white sugar worldwide.
All ICUMSA 45 sugar is sourced and packed in São Paulo state, Brazil, on audited partner lines under LAKAY SOP. Shipments depart from the ports of Santos and Paranaguá.
Every shipment includes SGS inspection at load, a Certificate of Analysis (COA) issued in LAKAY's name, QR-coded lot traceability on every bag, and a complete documentation set (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Clean on Board Bill of Lading).
We work with confirmed Documentary Letters of Credit (DLC) and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC) under UCP 600/URC. Performance Bonds (PB 2%) are available on a case-by-case basis.
Standard packaging is 50 kg PP woven bags (new) with optional inner liner. 1,000 kg big bags are available on request. QR traceability labels can be customized per buyer language.
Typical laycan is 20–40 days after instrument (DLC/SBLC) confirmation. Exact timing depends on vessel availability and port scheduling at Santos or Paranaguá.
